I'm performing a freight train. As soon as I approaching red signal, 500Hz magnet activated. I'm using 35Km/h passing this magnet in PZB M Mode. According to manual, I have no need to press "Acknowledge" button. But, if I don't acknowledge the 500Hz magnet, it'll comes a emergency brake. Instead, if I acknowledge the magnet, 500Hz indicator comes up correctly. Is it a bug?
You don't need to acknowledge. 500Hz active means there is a stop signal ahead. So, you should slow down. In restrictive mode (70 and 85 lights alternately flashing), you should be below 25 within 153 m. Going slow (<10kph) turns restrictive mode ON. Which route, loco?
Make sure that you are well below the 35 km/h, if you go at around 34 or 35 you will get a penalty brake quite easily. Otherwise, 500 Hz magnets don't need to be acknowledged. Can you say on which route, loco and service, and where during this service, this happened? That will help to check if there is a bug or not.
Just a small correction but a 500 hz magnet doesn't necessarily mean a stop signal ahead. You will encounter a 500 hz signal as well when encountering a speed restriction of less than 40 kph
