The 19th Century London Liverpool Street is the City terminus point of the Great Eastern Main Line before the line winds through the suburbs of London and past the Olympic Park, into Essex and on to Suffolk. The locos: The British Rail Class 360 Desiro is an electric multiple-unit class that was built by Siemens Transportation Systems between 2002 and 2005. I would love to see this, it might be a bit too long for DTG atm (unless the new unreal engine allows more length) but I would so love to see the GEML especially with the Class 360 Desiro
Plenty of freight opportunities with this one and not just containers either with Chelmsford Recp., Marks Tey and Ipswich Griffin Wharf providing some variety. Plus of course, plenty of potential DLC options such as the Class 86s for freight, Class 315s for the Shenfield shuttle and the stalwart Class 321. The GEML is what draws me to TS most often and to have it represented in TSW would be fantastic.
Nah, the original route is kinda buggy and messes out the memory, been happening for a couple of years at least. It was kinda the last straw I had with TS, hence switching to TSW which worked right up until the last update with no crash bugs whatsoever... had a few since BML though
Couldn’t do as the hex and hc 360’s wear a different livery and are a different variant Also we could have the class 321 as a dlc
Love the class 321's. Living on the route it's amazing to me that they're still going. The Armstrong powerhouse class 321 enhancement pack in TS was excellent. Felt like I was back on the platform with their old great eastern livery. Nearly as nostalgic as the old class 86 Anglia livery.
Won't be as accurate though as the 360/1's consist of 4 carriages, and the 360/2's (Heathrow Connect) were made up of 5. Still a step in the right direction though, at least they would make Paddington a little more "livelier". I'm also all for the Class 90's. It's a shame they never got a proper send off from GA, it was all done very quietly. At least they can still be found on freight journeys. Maybe the Dusty Bins could be the default train in the new route as they're the backbone of the GEML and have the 360's among the dlc instead.
True, hence them saying "A bit too long for DTG". The "bottleneck" is the amount of devtime given over by DTG rather than any inherent issue with the engine
Personally live on the Braintree Line, If they were to do it. It's likely that the 755/745's would be used. Just because the GEML has loads of stock on it and to condense it down it would make sense, also, who wouldn't want a 745/755 :P
Living on the GEML myself I'm not a fan of the newer trains on the route, give me an old 321 bin or chattery 156!
