The Metropolitan line, colloquially known as the Met, is a London Underground line between Aldgate in the City of London and Amersham and Chesham in Buckinghamshire, with branches to Watford in Hertfordshire and Uxbridge in Hillingdon

The London Underground S7 and S8 Stock, commonly referred to as S Stock, is a type of rolling stock used on the London Underground's subsurface lines since 2010. Manufactured by Bombardier Transportation's Derby Litchurch Lane Works, the S Stock was ordered to replace the A60, A62, C69, C77 and D78 stock on the Metropolitan, District, Hammersmith & City, and Circle lines, which all date back to the 1960s and 1970s. The order consists of a total of 191 trains (1,395 cars), and consists of two types, S7 Stock for the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines, and S8 Stock for the Metropolitan line, with differences in the arrangement of seating and number of cars.

these will run 409 services all along the route

    SCENARIOS

School Run- run an s stock from Harrow On the Hill to drop off secondary school students off at Wembley Park
Amersham All Change- drive an s stock from Aldgate to Amersham on a busy summer day

Uxbridge Rain - run an s stock train from Uxbridge to Aldgate in the rain

Watford Westbound - run a westbound service from Watford to Aldgate

last train of the day - run an s stock train from Harrow on the hill To Amersham and then go into the sidings for tommorow

this is a great suggestion and a well written too id love to see the metropolitan line in TSW 2 but you should of saved this thread for a later date since we have just had the Bakerloo line released a few months ago but id certainly love this route since its a sub surface underground line whereas the Bakerloo line is deep level

In my opinion, this is the perfect Underground route for TSW2. It's got a mix of above ground and sub surface sections, it's a decent length, and it's iconic.

What sets it apart from the rest of the lines though is the variety. It's the only line to not only feature express running, but also semi fast services in addition to all stations stoppers. That means that even though it's the same train, the services themselves remain varied.

The pessimist in me says that if DTG do another Underground route, it'll be the Piccadilly line as I believe they've mentioned it in the past. Personally I wouldn't be a fan. In terms of gameplay, it'll basically just be a longer version of the Bakerloo with a train that I doubt will feel much different from the 1972 stock.

This route has Express local and Skip stop service transport for London calls them Fast All Stations and Semi Fast for the S8 and if Dovetail Games wanted Metropolitan line retro locomotives there's a GWR 5700 and Sarah Siddons Electric locomotive.
