Items in Steam sale still available until 6pm tonight and the next Steam sale begins this Thursday 27th at 6pm. TSW2 products will be on sale but don’t expect the same discounts as were in the FoR sale. They were last year.
https://steamdb.info/sales/history/ No clue if TSW will part of the sales though. How can you know? Do you have some inside information?
Chris, did you not just see the 75% off one which everyone was talking about on here and other social channels which ran for a week or two and probably ended in the last 3 days? Patience now chap.
Yep steam sales on with stuff up to 75%. And things that were not part of last sale ! Good for catching up ! Peninsula Corridor 75% Baby bullet 75% West Cornwall 40% ! (out 4th of november..) DB BR 101, 187 and 155 : 60% LGV : 60% And far more !
It's no point, I am just going to save up my money, and wait for the new stuff, I already got most of the stuff already.
Still had enough in the Steam kitty from the last sale to get the BR 101. Plus Portal 2 for $1.99! Awesome bonus.
Full breakdown of discounts: Steam: Epic: Lot more discounts on Epic, presumably making up for the Festival of Rail sale. Sale runs until the 3rd on Steam and the 10th on Epic. Just noticed the base game is NOT discounted on Steam.
Not too surprising it's on discount now, just like Sherman Hill; I think the big shock with Sherman though was the discount itself - 75% (even now it's on 60% on Epic); can certainly see why a few people who paid full whack were rubbed very much the wrong way with that. EDIT: Just checked - Cornwall was 40% off in the winter sale last month.
I am just going to hold off, despite the fact that there are discounts going on because I have mostly everything. Holding off for the Harlem Line and The Steam Train, and new route, and trains.
Nothing really to get now and in any event just blown @£35 on Run 8 V.3 so that's this month's train sim allowance pretty much used up!
General question re West Cornwall. I'm not too interested int he route, more the trains (particularly the 37 and wagons). Is it worth it at £15?
Well, caved and got LGV anyway. Not one I was really interested in, but the price was right. And it does have new signals to learn.
I just did the same a couple of hours ago. I am going to check it out now. I also grabbed the 101 since it was so highly regarded... asides from the missing cab car which I found out about after buying. It's supposedly still a good DLC plus a great price.
Just finished testing it out. Nice loco indeed. No complaints from me. I also took this time to learn to use AFB for the first time.
Another PC sale of TSW products all 50% off apart from TSW3 standard and deluxe editions which have 15% off. https://uk.gamesplanet.com/search?query=Train+Sim+World+2
