Is there a difference between TSW2 (purchased) and TSW2 on GamePass? Do add-ons work with the GamePass version? Thanks!
It is my understanding that add ons will work on the Game Pass version (which is the same as the purchased version) but of course, if you discontinue Game Pass or when TSW2 leaves Game Pass, then your add ons will cease to work until such time as you purchase the core program. I suggest looking out for sales.
Yes, the add-ons work as it is the same file. The PC Game Pass version does not have add-ons support. I would recommend picking up one of the starter bundles with the Game Pass discount if you are thinking of buying. Then you can own it, get an additional route + 2 DLC locos for a little more than full price route DLC.
