Couldn't resist... Steam players get a discount for purchasing in advance, so I went ahead and bought the new game. Plus, I had $19.99 US in credit on Steam from some time ago, so my total outlay was only $5.50 US after the discount. That's pretty hard to beat! Even if I had paid full price I think the game will prove to be lots of fun and well worth the price of admission, just based on what I've seen of the Bakerloo Line. TSW 2020 has been a very nice way to reduce stress during the unprecedented time we're in with the pandemic. Based on that positive experience in an otherwise not-so-positive time, I'm looking forward to exploring the new simulator. The Bakerloo line and the high-speed German ICE locomotive both look great, and Sand Patch Grade will be a bonus. The new traction dynamic is sure to make the Sand Patch route a bit more challenging, especially in adverse weather. But the feature I'm most looking forward to is the Scenario Editor. That element of game play may prove to be what I spend the most time with if it proves out to be as described. In the end, it seems a fairly small price to pay for the hours of distraction and enjoyment it should bring. We'll all know in a few days, and I'll be sure to post my first impressions after a fair shakedown. Looking forward to it!
