    Hello, Reader!

Today I'm suggesting the Llandudno Junction to Holyhead route as well as the branch to Llandudno via Deganwy.

    The Route

    Mainline

    • Llandudno Junction
    • Conwy
    • Penmaenmawr
    • Llanfairfechan
    • Bangor
    • Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (or Llanfairpwll for short
The name is pronounced: Llan-vire-pooll-guin-gill-go-ger-u-queern-drob-ooll-llandus-ilio-gogo-goch. In england this is translated to: St Mary's Church in the Hollow of the White Hazel near a Rapid Whirlpool and the Church of St. Tysilio near the Red Cave.
    • Bodorgan
    • Ty Croes
    • Rhosneigr
    • Valley
    • Holyhead

    Branch (from Llandudno Junction)
    • Deganwy
    • Llandudno
    upload_2022-6-29_9-56-4.png

The entire route is no more than 44 miles
    Rolling Stock
    • BR Class 158 - Trains for Wales Livery
    [IMG]
    • BR Class 175 - Trains for Wales Livery
    [IMG]
    • BR Class 221 - Avanti West Coast Livery

    Additional Layers
The following layers are for railtour duty unless stated:

    • Locomotives from TVL (except Class 101)
    • Locomotives from NTP (except Classes 08 and 101)
    • Class 37/5 from WCL
    • LMS Jubilee and LMS Stanier 8F from Spirit of Steam.
    Further Railtour Information:
Railtour rolling stock: BR MK1s from Spirit of Steam and/or BR MK2s from NTP

There can be four railtours. Two could be a onward and return journey to/from Holyhead and the other could be an onward and return journey to/from Llandudno (which has happened).

Both railtours would need to be top n tailed like the railtour services on Scottish Commuter (Cathcart) and if a steam engine is hauling the tour then it will need to be able to turn around however, from what I've seen, steam locomotives are usually dragged behind the tour train until they get to either Chester or Crewe. There is a triangle at Valley which steam locomotives tend to use to turn around. In real life, the railtours are usually in the platform for a while before being moved to a siding to be prepared for the return leg of the journey.
