Ok not been on the group for a long time due to all the issues with Modules and Bugs. So with this new version are things sorted and so much better than last year. I still only have a PS4 and unlikely at present to be able to afford a PS5. So it is worth it? Not read any feeds yet, just wanted a quick heads up that Dovetail and the other companies have got their collective acts together and that everything is stable!
Many tutorials and bugs still remain to be fixed. Some fixed, some not. Some are being worked on but the focus is on the new title/summer release at the moment so don't expect updates although they could be waiting to release it with the release.
I’m quite happy with TSW3, although it has some issues that should be addressed. If you believe the “hype” then TSW4 is coming in September (DTG making an announcement later this month) You may want to wait and see if that’s true before upgrading.
Thanks for your quick reply, so nothing has actually changed. Which is a shame after all this time and input from the community. Along with the so called "Lessons Learnt" nothing has actually changed in the way Dovetail operate. I'll have to think long and hard if I want to waste more of my time and money on it. Being retired time is precious, just to spend it when a game or route crashes and you have to spend hours replaying a section. I'll pop back anon to see if anyone else adds to this post.
If the track (Pun not intended) record of Dovetail is anything to go by, you will all be unpaid Beater Bug Testers! I speak from experience of the past here. It is a great shame that such an excellent idea is so poorly implemented. I am not sure that TSW4 is going to be any different.
If you are going to buy TSW 3 now is the best time to do so as the Deluxe edition is 70% off on PlayStation and the sale ends tomorrow so grab it while you can.
