Hello, Perhaps already answered somewhere else, but I couldn't find a post about it. I'm still on TSW2, so skipped TSW3. Now I'm thinking of buying TSW4. Will it be possible to transfer all my TSW2 routes to TSW4 including the progress I made (completed scenarios, service mode runs)? I know that steam achievements can not be transfered. Hope to hear soon. Thanks.
Yes. You can transfer all tsw2 dlc's to TSW3 and tsw4. There is 1 or 2 tsw2020 dlc's tho that won't transfer to tsw2 and they still won't transfer to TSW3&tsw4. You should be good transferring stuff from 2 to 4 though. Just be aware tsw4 isn't out yet and you'll be pre-ordering unless you wait til release.
I know TSW3 will transfer your progress from TSW2 but I'm not sure that DTG have confirmed that TSW4 will also transfer your progress from TSW2 whereas we know that TSW4 will import progress from TSW3.
Pretty sure they stated that all will be transferred if you keep tsw2/3 installed. Check the FAQ for more details.
I’m pretty sure it works by your DTG account for medals and progress etc but sometimes can need the data from the game still downloaded for reasons I don’t quite understand or know, but if TSW2 is installed and you didn’t use TSW3 it should/could/may transfer it to TSW4, the only reason why it shouldn’t is if the transfer is tied to TSW3, which as far as I know it isn’t.
