    Hey all,
Recently started playing TSW2 and i've now ventured onto the USA Sand Patch Grade scenarios.
I'm having a little trouble with the first Y101 Morning Delivery scenario.
After hooking up to the 8 freight carts, I'm not able to get the train moving again.
All I am doing is causing the wheels of the train to spin.

Having watched various videos on YouTube, I'm not able to see what I am doing wrong.
The videos that I have seen appear to show the accelerator being slowly ramped up and the train moves off without issue?
Tried numerous times and have failed so now turning to the forums for help....

Thanks in advance for any replies!

did you release both the automatic and independent brakes? Screenshots/and or a video would help us to help get you rolling again. *pun intended

Also, what locomotive are you using?

I just gave it a shot and i was able to do it no problem. Here’s a checklist to try and help you:

    1. Insert reverser and select direction
    2. Cut out valve to freight
    3. Independent to release
    3 auto brake to release
    4. Make sure the generator field, engine run, and fuel pump switches are all on
    5. Make sure mu valve is set to lead or dead

make sure everything is switched off in the other loco as well, independent brake etc. and the valve is set to trail 6 or 26

    hope this helps

And when starting the train, increase the throttle slowly. Too much power too quickly will cause wheelslip.

    Many thanks for this.
There are a few things in your list that I wasn't aware of such as the cut out valve, mu valve....
I'll find out where these out later and try again.

    Will report back.
Thanks for the responses, appreciate them.

Cut out valve is to the left of the auto brake. The MU valve is on the left side of the control stand at the bottom (assuming you are using the SD or GP).

Thank you all for your helpful posts.
I found the valves and can now pull freight with ease!
    Thanks again.
