Hello there. I read the thread about 'Preserved Collection on Disc'. But still it's not clear to me, if I get a digital version of TSW2020 Collector's Edition, will I be able to add all the five routes (Peninsula Corridor, Main-Spessart Bahn, Northern Trans-Pennine, Long Island Railroad, Ruhr-Sieg Nord y Great Western Express) on TSW2 for free? and is there any difference between those routes in TSW2020 and the TSW2 Preserved Collection ones?
Yes, you should be able to add the 5 preserved collection routes from TSW2020 into TSW2. There are some differences between the TSW2020 versions and the TSW2 versions as there are updated physics for the trains. The TSW2 versions of the routes are gradually being upgraded to include newer features such as platform information displays, working crossing gates etc but this process is slow.
Yes friend, I did that, I bought TSW2 first, and then I bought the collector version of TSW 2020, and then I got 6 DLC's from the Collection preserved in TSW2 for free, RT, GWR MSB, LIRR, PC NTP.
Another golden tip, avoid buying DLC or TSW2020 without promotion, periodically there are promotions for both, I've had the bad luck to pay 160 BRL on LIRR on a Tuesday, and on Friday it costs half the price (80 BRL), without tell me it's part of the collector's package, so I lost a lot of money. Generally new lines vary between 10% at launch (PSN subscribers), 20% to 35% for new lines (post TSW2), 20% to 60% for preserved routes and Locos Add-ons, so keep an eye out and enjoy.
