Since installing this DLC on Series X, the game sits on the loading screen with the animation swirling for 3 minutes before crashing to the dashboard. It loads up fine on Series S. Removing Glossop fixes this on Series X, but reinstalling it causes the crash again.

[EDIT] when loading from the exact same storage card, the S can load the game but the X cannot. I have tried clearing the console's cache with no change.

    Hi Princess Entrapta ,

That is frustrating, as personally I've not experienced any problems with the Glossop Line on an Xbox Series X.

Is this an official storage expansion card and have you tried moving it to internal storage? Also, it's important to make sure that the game has been fully closed after an update or installing something new. Quick Resume is likely to cause problems in those cases. Microsoft also provides troubleshooting steps here: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/game-issues-solution

Yep, official card. The official expansion cards are the only ones that work AFAIK, since MS pushed a firmware update that locked out the third party ones, something I expected would happen, so never bought one.

I always close games fully from the menu, as Quick Resume causes problems when you hop between multiple XBoxes as frequently as I do (I have one in each room of my place).

The oddity was it only being a problem on Series X. The exact same memory card in both my Series S consoles ran the game fine. Hence me clearing the cache on the Series X.

Funnily enough, while redownloading the Glossop line or the core game didn't help, it cleared up the moment the SEHS update downloaded this afternoon.

Very strange, although i'm glad to hear that it has been resolved. Worth keeping an eye on.
