PC Tsw3: Lost In Game Progress

Greetings!

I reinstalled TSW3 and then after log in to dovetail live i have only one variant: create new profile! Where is my previous profile with progress and level?

 

Profile data, savegames and general settings can be found here:

C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld3\Saved

Everything should be there even after a reinstallation of TSW 3, provided you didn't delete the directory manually without creating a backup.

 

I see, this dir was completely rewritten on reinstallation. But what about Steam cloud or Dovetail live?

 

Nope, if you didn't back them up manually then you have to start again. No cloud saving for TSW unfortunately.

 

So a game released in 2022 doesn't support cloud saves? Why do you need a dovetail live account at all if a profile is not attached to it?

 

There seems to be something wrong, because normally this directory is not changed even after a reinstallation and can still be used. Have you created a new profile with the same name? In this case, the previous savegame/progress was overwritten.

EDIT: Dovetail live only saves your mastery progress, drivers log and community event progress/rewards, nothing else.

Don't feel bad, there's actually no "real progress" in TSW. Just have fun driving.
