Why are the consists made up of one piece of rollingstock for example of the Frieght services is only made of the plank wagons and same with passenger services made up of the maroon mk1s but in the 8f introduction the rollingstock such and the red and cream mk1s and other wagons such as the mineral wagons, vans and flat containers which all could be added to the service mode to make each service a little bit different.

If you're on a last gen console, you will have less variety in the rolling stock

 

Interesting, okay. I wish it was the same but it's not. I'm concidering getting a next gen console so this is another bonus to getting one

 

Also what seems to have happened is that the freight cars only have 1 piece of rolling stock cuz of the recent update to sos since there were issues with consists preventing you from moving unless you manually released all the brakes.

 

Will DTG bring the varied rollingstock on spirit of steam to last gen consoles tho

 

Most likely not as it will impact on the performance.

 

Doesn't that only apply to the coal trains, where you now have a full train of unbraked stock?

 

What they had before was a consist where the unfitted wagons were right behind the train and the fitted wagons were behind the unfitted wagons, which meant you got no braking/releasing so you had to manually release the brakes on the fitted wagons, so the consist was updated

 

Yes, the only changes made were to the coal trains.
