I bought a pack off Steam, it said it was compatible with TSW4, it is a TSW3 train. Train Sim World® 4 Compatible: Birmingham Cross-City Line: Lichfield - Bromsgrove & Redditch Route. I paid £26.99 for it, how do I make it show or have I lost my money? Col.
I don't believe it, after loads of going back and forth clicking on this and that, it is now showing, not had that before, the last things I got it was in straight away, sorry for the confusion and thanks again. Col.
If you right click on tsw4 in your library, then go to properties, then local files (I think), click verify game files and let it do it's checks and it'll let you know if any files are missing that need to be downloaded or if everything is there. I'm not at my pc to doing off top my head
Thanks Bill, I just did it and all was OK, I'm not used to Steam, I did one time get a Flightsim off there but I never used it as I had the disks. One thing I've learned is when something looks like a bargain it says its an Addon, so it isn't the full game, you need the full game for it to work, then you see the price of the full game. I've looked on a few other sites that have been mentioned on hear and some games don't say if they are for the PC so I'm not sure if they are or not. Col.
I just finished a run I was on last night in a Class 323, last night I never got this but this morning every so often there was an annoying buzz. I thought it was that AWS thing, I clicked on it but it still sounded, after a few seconds it went then it came back, it was doing my head in I took off my headphones but that spoiled it then as I like to hear the other sounds. Any Ideas what that is and how to stop it? Col.
The only buzz the 323 has that I can think of is either the guard buzzer or the transformer under the centre coach
Ah it's me again doh! I found the problem, don't know why it started doing it but I changed the way I had the audio connected to my PC and it seems to be OK now. My situation is I'm hard of hearing and use headphones, but I have my headphones running through an amplifier, any way I changed the connection wires about and now it seems OK.
