A little stroll outside Strood:
they look like they’re smiling
The mod is great Bescot, 1A gives a lovely lifelike look to the scenery now, at least on SEHS, haven't checked the Wurzelburger or Cajon routes yet. Begs the question why DTG couldn't have incorporated intensity modifiers to start with and continue to ignore requests for same.
Tried the Ashford to St Pancras TGV....
some new pictures
Thanks Vern,. Yeah 1a is about the sweet spot on Cajon too I think. I noticed no.2 version made the ground look too dim there, because of those big Californian skies and open landscape.
Superb isn’t it. Weaned me back off Run 8!
Although arent those TSW2 and not TSW3 routes?
Yes but the core lighting changes seem to have substantially improved the appearance of legacy routes; and without the overblown adaptive eye effect (thankfully now tamed by the Bescot mod) of the new content.
A moody morning in Fulda. I loved the reflection of the interior in the window, the trains coming and going and the little detail of the sunroof windows covered in rain droplets. Majestic.
A few with the New RHTT DLC
Few more here. These skies just keep giving. DTG Matt buy this team some cakes and some fluid refreshments. Bloody awesome skies popping up randomly now.
They do indeed and while your at it give SEHS a kick up the arse cos it looks absolutely nothing like these pictures
While I admit some of those pictures look good I hope someone at DTG take notice what JetWash was saying, surely if the Lighting can be improved on further that is a plus for everybody no?
For me I liked the sunset on GWE on TSW2 as I do not own TSW3 it would be nice to see if it has been improved or just the same. I would also add that the station lighting still looks dark to me.
Just came across this scene today. Now tell me this doesn't look like real life to you ? I am mighty impressed.
It is a good likeness but if I was being picky I'd say the edge of the ballast is just too uniform for me.
Some more? Here you go!
They do look great
Agreed. The wagon looks great, as does the track & the speed-tree(s). The rest of it looks like a game from around 2010.
Just wow. Even the lighting in tsw2 is impressive sometimes.
How did you get the new skies to Tees Valley? A mod perhaps?
I got TSW3 as a present for Christmas and having played it I do like the new effects (snow, sparks, sky, etc) however I would recommend that DTG look at optimizing the skies as on very high and ultra settings it floors my 3060Ti's FPS from 80+ to the low 30s.
That is the todv4 mod
you might have to explain to DTG what 'Optimising' is and means.
The standard view FOV is way too wide-angle, almost a fisheye lens. When I take screenshots I almost always zoom all the way in to reduce that effect.
That Javelin picture is very impressive
PC has never looked that good, especially in the last picture, but ... Who gave you such powers, and why did you decide to use them against humanity ?
Why do the clouds in the bottom picture remind me of the opening shots to the Simpson's?
Soo high quality and good looking it took several minutes for the screenshots of load lol
These are amazing. It’s one thing that does set it apart from TS Classic. Lighting and graphics quality. Now all they need to do is go back and completely revamp all their old stock’s physics, sounds, add in advanced features correctly. Correct brake hiss noises, correct running, brake rub sounds, Braking force physics etc and it’ll be a fab simulator to enjoy.
Tried the mod on Boston as preperation what to expect, and, what can I say ! Acela here I come !
Forgive me for not removing the HUD, I wasn't thinking of posting it at that time.
Well not really since dtg have full access to the lighting tools compared to modders. But I agree it'll look impressive
Love the 395 in this one,!
How did you get the NEC: New York trash trailers into TSW 3?
Separate names with a comma.
