Platform: PC Steam Game Version: TSW4 Train: Acela Scenario: High Speed US Scenario details: "The lines have been cleared for you to really stretch your legs and get up to speed in the Acela". Providence to Boston. Crash details: All goes well until about a mile north of Readville approaching Hyde Park. Sudden crash to desktop. Tried running the scenario again after re-starting the game and crashed again in the same place. Comment: I can't find any other mentions for this. Is anyone else having this problem?
Not yet, but I'm not too concerned as it is basically a timetable run from Providence to Boston and they seem to work okay.
I have exactly the same crash. Also other timetable runs the other way around from Boston to Providence crash at another place, repeatably. Seems to happen only in Acela so far. edit: managed to pass the critical section by: - reducing speed below 40MPH (higher than that seemed to crash every time) - hiding in engine room - closing the door behind me (might not be needed, I did it together with reducing the speed so either this or the reduced speed helped). - also seems to help in other sections where it might otherwise crash So this is what we have to deal with with DTG. And I am assumign now that a workaround is found there is no need to patch anything, all good here

That is, if you are on PC, as no details were provided in your message. I did not provide any details because I wrote I have exactly the same crash as OP. So the details are exactly the same, crash on "High Speed US" scenario, when approaching Hyde Park. I saved it about a mile before the crash site and I tried to load it like 10 times and it was still crashing every single time. However I tried to rerun the scenario today and no crash, so it is strangely intermittent, unfortunately. This time though, when it did not crash, I saw that there was a stopped train in the station, so most likely it was not able to load it properly when it was crashing. I have about 120 hours in TSW4 and before Acela on Boston Corridor I had only 1 single crash, so otherwise the game is very stable, but in about 5 runs with Acela on Boston I already had 2 crashes at the specific places, but not always, so it is hard to diagnose.
