Well, this was unexpected. TSW4 alone for $5, a 10 DLC set for $10, or all 15 for $15. Prices are minimums, you can always put in more for the publisher and/or charity. The supported charity is SpecialEffect, who I believe are the same folks Matt has streamed for. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/...x_1_c_trainsimworld4topupyourtimetable_bundle
Just seen this crazy good deal. Shame I have most of them though but maybe get it as I am missing Sherman Hill and peak forest
I'm missing only TSW4, still undecided to spend 4.61 EUR for it... but well, I have 21 days to decide.
3.5 routes (ALV, ECML, VBRG & the upgraded WSR) for 4.61 EUR is a great deal, I doubt you will see anything better for a long time.
Upgraded DRA, too, which I have for previous editions. Let's say getting TSW4 isn't a priority for me, but there are still 21 days the bundle is live. Anyway, when getting it I'll probably make it a custom amount and move the slider for the charity to the max.
Well sadly this time around I have them all. If some of the newer content like Maintal or Bernina had made it into a bundle I might have been tempted but it's a pass for me I'm afraid.
The inclusion of 1 or 2 TSW4 routes would have made it an insta-buy for me as well....but as it stands I'm still considering it just to nab PKF, BR363 (RSN version) & SMH for a great price, plus donating money to charity of course
Well, I'll take it. Not a PC player today but maybe change in the future, so I'll have a good base then Can't do much wrong for this price
Bear in mind that as it's the PC version you get access to the products of the Editor as well - there's already some great mods out there.
There's something people should be aware of if considering this bundle. Unlike every other bundle I've purchased from Humble, this particular one does not provide you with a product key for each individual item in the bundle. Rather, you get a single key for each tier of the bundle you buy into, which redeems all DLC included in that tier to your Steam account, regardless of whether or not you already own it. This means that there's no way to gift individual items from the bundle (as Humble usually allows) and any duplicate DLC is immediately lost upon redeeming the product key. I bought the full bundle under the assumption that I could give the DLC I already owned to a friend, which I've done many times before with other bundles. You are also not warned of this in advance on the bundle page, and knowing this ahead of time would have impacted my decision to buy it.
I just bought it .. I been playing on Xbox Series X but want to move 100% to PC so this was a dream, all for £11.89
This boiled my LOVE too, i have a lot of DLCs played on Xbox Series X, bought this for playing on my PC and wanted to gift any DLCs that were duplicated. I think i would have still paid for it though as i am moving of console and onto Pc 100%.
That means that, considering I'm missing only Class 313 and West Somerset, second tier is enough. At this point i have a question. Do you think is still worth for the price? These are the DLcs that improves the experience of west somerset Flying scottsman Peak forest Trans pennine Heavy freight Tees valley line Dsn class 20 Br class 31
I think it was an intentional choice on DTG's part. It was really nice seeing people gifting codes to each other when the bundle came around. Killjoys. Another issue is that even though all of the DLC is in my library now I have bought the bundle, the DLC doesn't appear properly in the Steam Store. While the individual product pages say it's in my library, search results say I don't, and 'complete my collection' discounts don't apply as Steam doesn't think I own the DLC even though I do. Example: I have reported the issue to DTG to see what the issue is.
This is a relatively common issue with the steam store, its a valve issue not DTG It usually resolves itself after time after everything syncs up. Keep checking back and you'll see them update
Although I mainly agree, at this price point, you cant really blame DTG for locking the levels down. The price of the top level is less than most single DLCs even in a sale. And you get the main game. Clearly aimed at newcomcomers or TSW2/3 users who have not yet upgraded.
I've never seen this before either and didn't even know it was a thing. Thanks for giving us a heads-up!
Just two days in, and with 19 to go, charitable contributions to SpecialEffect via bundle purchases have already topped $7,700.
If I remember correctly, when tsw3 went to humble, shortly after the announcement of tsw4 came, that is, it looks like we will see the announcement of tsw5 soon...
They didnt even fix the bugs of tsw4. And even Tsw 278 wont solve the mess of the 8 different same cl66, 12 different same dostos.
and you think they care about fixing bugs? they only care about releasing a new tsw game every year with the new features being the same new features promised in the previous tsw game because that's what makes the money and that's all they care about do decent, quality work? nah, it's too much work
I would like to remind everyone in 13 hours the offer is off. Get it now, or you'll be too late. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/...x_3_c_trainsimworld4topupyourtimetable_bundle
And nearly $24,000 raised for SpecialEffect with less than 9 hours left. Wonder if they can hit $25K.
I decided at the last moment to go for this. I have much of this on Xbox already and it probably won’t run great on my existing PC but I’m planning to upgrade next year so for £11.99 I’ve got a starter kit. Update: Having installed it all, I must say that I’m pleasantly surprised at how well it runs on my PC, better than TSC in fact. Now to check out some mods.
