Announcement Tsw4 Launch - Missing Compatible Content Update

Hey folks,

A quick update on where we're at with getting compatible content live overnight. The Retail team will aim to review where we're at first-thing and make some headway on the following with the respective platforms:

Steam:
We believe players missing certain Add-ons will have purchased certain historic bundles (so, some will have access to the below, some will not). Most players who have owned or purchased routes individually should have access at this point.

We believe this is because whilst backwards compatibility has been set up, forwards compatibility has not (i.e. if you own this in older versions, it's visible in TSW4). We will be following this up with Valve today.

• Routes alongside the Founders Edition and TSW2020 upgrade (GWE, RT)
• TSW New Journeys content

PS:

• We believe we're up-to-date with PS content

We also believe those who redeemed LGV for free during the Free period in May this year may also not be able to redeem it in TSW4 at present.

Please DO NOT repurchase any content you're currently missing whilst we work on these.

Some of these will need some further investigation, but we'll work through these tomorrow. Thanks for your patience, and we're glad everyone is in-game and playing, even if it's not, in some cases, with your full collection.

 

Update: 16:00 - 27th September:

• Epic players should now see Deluxe Edition content, BR 182, BR 182 Dispolok, and Great Western Express available to download if they've previously owned it.

 

Update: 19:55 - 27th September:

• Valve have started to add the remaining entitlements; I'll confirm on this thread when complete.
• They've also resolved an issue whereby the Class 700 wasn't redeemable for some players.
• They've also re-added Loyalty Discounts to Standard, Deluxe, and Special Editions of Train Sim World 4

 

Update: 20:09 - 27th September:

• Valve have confirmed they believe they've added all the remaining entitlements for Steam players

Please make sure you've restarted your Steam client, and let us know if you're having any further issues. They may take a little while to propagate in your client.

As a quick note for remaining issues with Xbox and Epic:

Xbox

• We have contacted Microsoft and we expect the remaining missing Add-ons (Founders Pack GWE and RT), and New Journeys to be added at some point before tomorrow morning

Epic

• We have contacted Epic, and they are working through the entitlements - we don't have an ETA on this yet though, unfortunately

PS5 - LGV

For PS5 players who claimed LGV free during the promotion earlier this year, please contact our Support Team and we'll provide you with a key. Please provide us with a receipt of the redemption of the key, and where you're based in the world!

Update: 12:00 - 28th September:

We are aware of continued entitlement issues on Steam for a small amount of players missing certain Add-ons.
Currently, we've seen reports of these missing add-ons:

• RRO
• BR 204
• MSB
• RSN
• Br 155
• DB 182
• RT
• MP15
• MP36
• Peninsula
• NJT
• NYT
• Island Line
• Luzern-Sursee

We are continuing to follow this up with Valve today, and we appreciate the continued patience of those affected while we work through this

 

Update: 30th September
The following is a list of add-ons we believe players may not be able to access at this time, due to missing entitlements. These entitlements are based upon what you purchased to gain access to the add-on.

An add-on may be available in multiple bundles or versions and an entitlement has to be manually set up for each one, on every platform. This information is sent to the platform holders well in advance of the TSW 4 launch, but in some cases human error can lead to the problems some of are players are currently suffering from.

Therefore, we are working closely with each platform to make sure the correct entitlements are restored. This will mean that no matter which version of an add-on you purchased, you will be automatically entitled to download the TSW 4 version of that add-on, so long as it was purchased on the same account and platform.

Xbox:
All versions of Great Western Express, Rapid transit and the New Journeys Expansion add-ons should be available now.

Steam:
Steam have completed a full review of all compatible content, and we believe that all compatible content should now be accessible.

Epic:
Regrettably, entitlements for compatible content may take the longest to resolve on the Epic Games Store. We are entirely dependent on the team at Epic to action our requests. However, hundreds of people have recently been made redundant at Epic Games and understandably there may be delays.
