Device in question is a Sound Blaster AE-7 PCI express card. (https://us.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-ae-7) System audio and other games work fine in headphone mode. TSW4 works fine in Speakers mode (but this is not desirable when I'm trying to use my headphones). Edit: never mind, found the problem... the Sound Blaster Control Panel was remembering the audio output mode independently for Speakers / Headphones. This ties back to an issue I found previously where TSW4 audio does not work in audio modes higher than 96KHz. (Speakers were set to 32-bit / 96KHz, headphones were still in 32-bit / 384KHz mode)
