I've downloaded the Pc Editor from the Epic Games website and looking at a previous thread, it would appear a fix was released in September for Steam and Epic hosted versions that addressed the issue of the editor crashing on loading at around 75%. I've read somewhere on this forum that the PC Editor does not support console versions but what is the situation regarding XBox PC (not console), which is the version I have. Has anyone managed to get the editor working on the XBox PC platform?
You have to have a Steam or Epic Games version of TSW4 to be able to use the editor as far as I know.
Yes, this was this thread where you also already participated but got no answer to yet. It was the crash of the Editor after the Blackpool Branches update. It was fixed for me on Steam as well: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...es-pre-release-game-update.76093/#post-750805 Quoting the PC Editor (Beta) FAQ: I guess that the Xbox PC version is meant to be a console version and thus is not compatible with the PC Editor, unfortunately. Therefore the 75% loading issue that we had with the BPO update, is not related to you. Due to the above circumstance, I don't think that anyone is able to use the PC Editor on the Xbox PC version, unfortunately. You need to have the Steam or Epic Games version of TSW4 to be able to use it, it seems.
