On the PS4 when I download a route from a previous version I often get the route downloading multiple times (for TSW4 and TSW3 for instance) and I stop/delete the none TSW4 version from my downloads list, as I figure I don’t want/need 2 versions of the same route on my system taking up space… I’ve not had a problem with any such route not working thus far… However, my plans fall apart when I come to download an attached Loco. I then get a prompt saying I must install the relevant route, even though it is already installed and working on TSW4. I should note I only have TSW4 on my system, having deleted previous versions. Is there a way around this for downloading the Locos? I’ve tried via PS store and get the same message that I must install the route. Or do I need to let the system install both routes just so I can get the loco?! If I do that, is there then a way I can delete the redundant route after?! As I’m still downloading all my routes from previous versions I don’t want to have to wait forever for all routes to download twice. Hope that makes sense, and I look forward to suggestions.
Any loco DLC you buy that hasn't been released for TSW3 or TSW4 needs the route it is associated with, otherwise you can't use them. Why this isn't mentioned as a dependency, I don't know. Would help with this sort of confusion.
