Creation Sharing [tsw4] Xxl Vectron Repaint Pack

Hey!
Here I present to you my XXL Vectron mega pack for TSW4.
Currently it has 36 liverys of different EVUs(E.g.DB Cargo,ELL,ÖBB)
I have(Thanks to Foob) an MS version and an AC version.
Also I made the Baseline 2 cab which is fitting for most Vectrons(there are differences for each "Länder Pakete" but I only did the base one)

I plan to publish it as soon as DTG fixes the problem that TSW doesnt load mods.

I am especially impressed that it was apparently possible to build an AC version on the MS platform. I am curious, though, will I be able to pre-select a pantograph through other means then selecting a country on the AC version?

 

It is planned,at the moment it isnt build in,you would have to choose swiss panto but it is planned to build a panto selecter,cant promise it tho

I'm really looking forward to it! You created so many cool repaints. But now TSW can load mods or not? Then can't you publish it now? Personally, I wouldn't mind paying something for your great work.

 

From what i have gathered through other creators on other plattforms- its behind a paywall and will not release to the public for free- in times of the creators club... where most if not all of them are already aviable.. idk..

 

Ready to pay too if this will be available. But No longer accepts payments from what I've seen

This pack was available for Ko-Fi subscribers initially. But was removed after backlash by discord users as mods can't be behind a pay wall.

It will per say. But it has taken forever.

 

It's understandable. In the EuroTruckSimulator2 community, paid mods are outlawed, discussion forbidden on both SCS and Steam forums. Even the biggest behemoth of a mod, total rework "ProMods" is free. You can donate if you want, that's working pretty well.

I remember the sh1tstorm when FinalDoom (TNT: Evilution) was released, a collection of community made levels that were suddenly getting commercial. Luckily, it didn't harm the community, continuing to make their creations available for free to anyone. That's the spirit.

 

Yeah thats correct! What a good way is to create a donation option if you wish and there are people they ask for it. Than the mod is free but if wish to spend money you can do! Way more fair and doesn't hurt the community.
