On PS5 the sim Fernbus uses mouse and keyboard in addition to the game controller. Fernbus is by no means a new game and its authors have moved on. But if that older game can have mouse and keyboard, does anyone here know the official reason that we do not have any mouse use in TSW5 and no setting of the key bindings for BT keyboards ? The worst for me now is that on PC i can separate the bindings for DSD and AWS but on PS5 you have to press the 'O' button to see what that loco has bound to that button. On PC i use the two big NumPad keys ( + and Enter ) for DSD and AWS. Even worse, the PS5 Operations Shift does not include the PZB Ack .. instead it has Release and the override ... and Sand. The D-Pad Up arrow is left unused and the user is dependent on the smarts and generosity of the devs for whether this ever is allowed ! Look at the $$ value of my TSW on 4 platforms and tell me that a user does not deserve a PS5 version at least as strong as the old Fernbus !
Keyboard functionality on console exists, but is limited. I'd hazard a guess that most people on console would likely use a controller mainly, rather than set up a mouse and keyboard.
