Once the uncoupled tail-end loco is the light loco running, its brakes keep pulsing slightly zero to 1 BAR.
The first power application looks ordinary at above 10 kN, brakes release, but then something pulses the brakes as if a brake hose had an issue.
    The timetable is for Main-Spessart.
    Weather is clear.
    The loco is
BR 185 231-8 as layered in from Salzburg - Rosenheim.
Tried the back panel settings such as brakes cut-out, the lights are correct.
Tried each of the three brake selections.
    Tried changing the pantograph
Parking brake is off ( held down the release button )
Tried with different train protection settings
    Tried brakes over-charge
Tried both directions toggling the brake release on the desk.
The brake system looks fully charged.
    Starting AFB set 40 kph

Same behaviour on TSW4 on this PS5, so that is good news of a sort.

My difficulty is tied to AFB, as without AFB, brakes do not pulse, but after initial power releases brakes and the light loco rolls, no further power can be taken.
Question: why does this 185 stand separate in the loco list ?

    Solved, but not resolved.
    The problem is the loco.
But when another BR 185 is selected from the list, a number of routes come up on the right: i selected Main-Spessart.
When i selected the first on the list, only the one route came up as a layer: Salzburg-Rosenheim.
Question: as a banking loco, why were its brakes cut-in ?
Question: the alternate loco starts with reverser in.
So what is special about the Salzburg BR 185.2 ?
