    I was running one of the scenarios involving the Class 114, and noticed that the train brake doesn't appear to do anything until put into Emergency. Is there a switch or setting I'm missing somewhere? Brake key is on, of course.

    You missed nothing, the 114 is a joke, entirely broken I’m avoiding this locomotive at the moment hoping DTG will fix it (maybe)

    The brakes not working seems to be exclusive to the “Pull!” scenario. In timetable services they function.

    air brakes dont work? really... oooh... I thought that the issue was inconsistent e-brake like on 112 where sometimes it bit as it should and sometimes not... damn why... I really liked 112 before it went bonkers, I even dedicated a whole thread (that was kinda complimentary to other 143/112 thread)... at first I hated it but then when I learned its quirks and features I have grown to love driving it... until the brakes started doing weird stuff (some ppl reported it long time ago, to me it started happening just a couple months ago, havent touched the loco since... I believe shortly after release of 218)

    damn :/ I really like the route and all, but some minor ICE-T issues (AFB locking throttle under LZB if used to brake by itself or by you), a weird 101 LZB behavior (jumping randomly between 190 and 195 for while before finally going to 199-200 kph), some FlixTrain minor stuff (impossible to complete services, 240 kN brake usually only doing 150 kN etc)... I think I might take a break from TSW for a couple days, a week maybe or more and play other games while they gather feedback/reports and fix at least some stuff

    It works fine on PS5 in the time tables. Just the Pull scenario has issues. I've driven it over 200 km on the Frankfurt route without any problems.

    Ok so I finally managed to complete the “Pull!” scenario, it turns out the “brake key” was on, once turned off I was finally able to slow down the train.

    EDIT: I was talking about the brake key from the Dosto cab car.

    i'm doing the timetable 4507 with the br 114 and those air brakes also do next to nothing.
    with brake switch off completely nothing happens, and when on it brakes very little

    On Xbox the air brakes (outside of emergency stop) in the 114 loco don't work in, scenarios or any route played via rail journeys, but they will (sometimes) work in timetables selected outside of journeys.

    Essentially it's completely broken.

    They seem to work fine in the cab car though.

    This worked perfectly! Changed the brake key in the cab car to OFF and completed the scenario without any issues.

    Thank You I had this issue with the scenario for some reason the scenario was set up as said with the brake key on in the other unit, I only knew the brakes would not work when I went through my first station without stopping. For anyone trying this scenario when you connect the loco to the set just switch of the break key in the other unit.

    I assume this is not a game but but probably they set up the scenario incorrectly, as said at least we have a way to fix that

    Here we are, half a year later, and 4507 timetable is still broken. The same as you.

    I've found one solution how to stop the train (the only combination that works for me to stop it quickly):
    1. Set speed selector to OFF;
    2. Set emergency air brakes;
    3. Set speed selector to 0.
    You need to cycle speed selector OFF to ZERO after emergency brakes have been used. Otherwise it almost does not brake.

    Meanwhile i have mastered stopping at a station with one door on the platform left and also hitting the buffers with passion!
