City Of Truro is one of my favorite steam engines, and the ONLY GWR 3700 4-4-0 City Class to be preserved. I would really like to see this engine in Train Sim World 5 (I would also like it if this engine can be used in the livery editor). The rolling-stock to go with "City Of Truro" should be a GWR C72 coach and a GWR D122 brake coach
It would be a superb addition to TSW, even with the current level of steam physics. Sadly though, no evidence DTG have relented their current hiatus on steam traction.
I’m honestly starting to think they will never do a steam train again until someone else does it first like a third party release of steam train, they would probably instantly see how much money they could make and then they would bother with making their own
Then the Catch 22 being, so far as we know all the big names who do steam in TSC are either not interested or not prepared to undertake any projects until DTG fix and improve the steam core simulation. I mean there’s a very outside chance we might get a token steam loco to celebrate the Rail 200 thing, but at best it would be another aberration like Flying Scotsman or even worse the DCC physics and controls of Thomas. That would just be an insult to a classic GWR loco like City Of Truro.
That’s the thing we don’t need big names, we just need one person, one community modder to become a third party with a steam locomotive then we are set. someone needs to take the chance
