I'm interested in the new TSW5 Frankfurt-Fulda route, so I was trying to see what the best way to get it would be for me on Xbox. The Xbox store has the Frankfurt-Fulda route available by itself for 36.99 CAD. There's also TSW5 German Regional Edition available for 53.99 CAD. The only route included in this edition is Frankfurt-Fulda. What's the difference? I.e., does the regional edition offer anything for the extra 17 CAD that it costs? If not, what's the point of it? Is it a scam? A mistake? Was it supposed to have additional German routes included but they're missing, or something? I wish they did not make the whole situation with editions and DLCs so unnecessarily complicated. It ends up feeling like either they're deliberately trying to rip people off, or are just incompetent at how to package their products for the Xbox store. Either way, it's a bad look that only serves to frustrate customers and burn good will. Hopefully someone can provide some clarity.
Hello - We've just shared an important update on the Regional edition bundles which you can read here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...al-bundles-important-update-on-pricing.84936/ The pricing for regional bundles is currently too high and should be the same price as the individual add-ons. For the time being please do not purchase the regional edition bundles, instead - get the Free Starter Pack, and then purchase the route add-ons separately. You can find links to all the route add-ons on Steam below, which are the correct prices: - West Coast Main Line Individual Route - Frankfurt Fulda Individual Route - San Bernardino Individual Route This will act the exact same as you purchasing the Regional edition, but the price will be correctly the lower amount. This has happened as we've removed the discount that adjusts the value of these regional bundles due to a store issue, and now it's reflecting a much higher price. If you've accidentally purchased a regional edition at this higher price point, please refund via Steam, or contact Valve for support when you can.
