i have question? i bought tsw5 stander edition for xbox but it says tsw5 starter pack. is that normal? i do have all dlc that come with game.
Ok, so first up the typo in the thread title is confusing as hell, "Stander Edition"? do you mean Standard, or Starter? The paid version with the three new core routes installed, or the free core update that lets existing owners of the game just transfer all their DLC over, and new players uninterested in those routes get the core game for free ready to be able to use upcoming routes like the new Boston one? Secondly - This is always easy to check on XBox. Has been for 11 years now, as it is standardised for all games since the XBox One launch.* Just navigate to the game in your library, hit that start button and pick "manage game and addons" When it shows you where it is installed, bring up the start menu again, pick "manage installation on [location]" Go down the list ticking all the boxes for the specific owned DLC you want installed (Or "select all" for convenience) Select "Save Changes" The game will now install any of your purchased DLC that did not automatically queue up when you purchased the game (This can happen if your drive is full, if you have disabled the option on your console, etc) as well as any owned DLC for TSW2, 3, or 4, as that is also compatible. *Wow, the XBox one is now as old as the XBox 360 was when MS finally stopped manufacturing it in 2016.
fixed the name. and i know about the dlc list thing. i re-downloaded cajon pass dlc from that list. i just used to seeing train sim world 5 and not just starter pack name.
That'll be a SKU thing. Part of how the store keeps track of which DLC belongs to which game and which game is which for Smart Delivery. Making the starter pack the "base" game and the standard edition a "bundle" of that and the three core routes is probably the easiest means of accomplishing avoiding any mixups on the backend.
