I managed to get a few of the training modules done last night but opening Steam this morning it appears to be downloading the whole thing again, or is it just a big update? Does anyone know? It's a bit frustrating as I'll have to wait 3.5hr before I can play again.
It may just be installing all your dlc it took me 2 hours lastnight to even be able to play the game tbh I haven't even booted up the pc yet so will see what happens when I do
You can go into Steam, manage DLC and untick some of the items so they can be downloaded in manageable chunks.
I think you're right, that it's the DLC. I had unticked the majority last night, hence being able to download play before bed. But this morning they're all ticked again, which is a bit odd. Unless I did it last night and don't remember. If I untick most it now, will what has already been downloaded be deleted off disc?
Files of the unchecked DLCs will be deleted. Steam may still keep saying it's downloading something for a minute or a little longer, but that's rather when it's doing the cleanup. Something like this happens every time I buy a DLC. It starts updating the game immediately and before the update process will finish after I uncheck the checkbox(es), it still keeps it in the downloads for a minute. However, I uncheck the DLCs for different reasons (mainly disk space, and sometimes due to download happening for multiple versions at the same time).

Downloaded over night while I was sleeping... everything there in TSW 5. All DLC, my profile etc. Just got to start over again with the mods the next couple of the days... going to see how the new routes look in the vanilla state.
