Announcement Tsw5 Xbox & Epic Games Compatible Content Update - 17th September

Hello everyone,

We’ve got an important update for users on Xbox platforms regarding the availability of some compatible content for Train Sim World 5’s launch later today.

Whilst undergoing pre-launch checks this weekend, through circumstances outside of our control, we noted that certain entitlements for some TSW add-ons had not been set up correctly, so that regrettably means that a number of items of Compatible Content will not be available for today's launch.

What will be available?

In essence, if you’ve purchased any TSW content as part of a core package or bundle, then this should work as expected, and you will be able to install and play this content from launch. However, any content you’ve acquired as an individual add-on, outside of a bundle, may not be available as these entitlements aren’t yet set-up on the Xbox platform.

In the time we’ve had, we’ve tried to prioritise access to content that interacts with Train Sim World 5 content via layers, Route Hopping, as well as some of the most-played and most recent content released.

As an additional note, for currently those who have purchased versions of Cajon Pass as an individual Add-on, this will not be accessible – we are working with Microsoft to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Next Steps

Our teams are working with Microsoft to get the remainder added as soon as possible and will confirm a roll-out schedule, and update with any newly-available content, as soon as we're able to, on this thread.

We are hopeful that this should be completed within the next week for the majority of the remaining content - and when new content is available, we'll update this thread.

To clarify – if you purchased content in a route bundle or Core package, that should be available with release, and the content above, if purchased individually, should be available. Cajon Pass will not be available in all circumstances.

From the list above, it appears Maintalbahn, Koln-Aachen, and Edinburgh Glasgow aren't showing as available. We're investigating.

 

Update: 10:34 BST 19th September

We're still waiting for Microsoft to implement the remaining entitlements. Once they've done so, we'll need to check and 'publish' them. We'll keep you posted, thanks for your patience.

 

UPDATE - 20th September - 12:00PM

Microsoft have added the majority of the remaining entitlements, and we're in the process of publishing them now.

You should see them come through over the coming hours, hopefully before the weekend!

As a note, the only outstanding entitlement we're aware of is the 1938 Underground Stock, so that might not be available just yet.

 

We are investigating reports that Maintalbahn and DB BR 101 aren't available.
