Hi all, if you spawn a diesel loco, turn the engine off, then spawn something else...why does the engine turn back on again? It's nice to put locos in a yard for extra realism, but things like the Class 66 ying-yinging gets annoying at times!
The game unfortunately turns off full physics for everything except the train you are are/were driving, same reason why if you leave freight wagons on a hill with no brakes, they don't roll away Everything else goes back to its default state, which is with its engine turned on. It the default was off, AI trains would drive around without making any noise or smoke It would be nice if full physics were enabled for trains in a certain area around the player, rather than just one
Ah that makes sense. Shame we can't get full physics but never mind. The thought of that 86 on the way will keep me more than distracted!
