I have completed the scenario ‘Gala Gathering’ after a) failing the scenario once due to the BR Class 52 derailing and b) almost failing it a second time for the same reason. I’m finding that even though I’m centering the train on the turntable, applying all brakes, setting the reverser to off and the main cab switch to off, the locomotive is jerking about on the turntable and almost rolls off the end whilst the turntable is in motion. Surely the locomotive should stay perfectly still as there can’t be sufficient centrifugal force to fling it off the turntable during this manoeuvre. Although I’ve completed the scenario, you might want to look at this as it doesn’t seem to work correctly.
Sorry, it's because I didn't press "operate" on the console before using it. Without this step, the train will derail. This isn't described in the steps in the scenario.
