    Hello guys,

Absolutely loving the new iteration of the train sim World Series and this game coupled with a few mods, running it in DX12 and lossless scaling creates breathtaking and beautiful results.

With that aside! The conductor mode is absolutely amazing too and has been long awaited.

You were waiting for the but…

    And here it is!

BUT I can only mention a few fundamental flaws in the conductor mode that detract from the realism (I work on the railway, onboard - so it really bugs me too) and these issues could be surely fixed by your dev team.

Firstly, when buzzing the driver, the driver doesn’t reply which is quite unrealistic unless you’re driving a bus. The driver is required to reply before taking power unless bell/buzzer communication equipment is not fitted in the cab the train is being driven from. In reality as a guard, if you don’t hear a reply from the driver, you tend to come to the conclusion that something has gone amiss, for example, you’ve dispatched against a red signal. So please DTG, can you implemented this for UK stock, the skyhook games 158 in midland mainline is a perfect example of how this could be implemented.

Please could you also create a “head out” view for the cabs fitted with droplight windows? It is also a requirement of most TOCs that the guard must use (where fitted) the droplight window to check the train out of the platform and also gives you another facet in regards to immersion. You have a “guards panel position” view so I’m sure this could be also implemented in future updates!

Finally, on a more localised level, I have tried to dispatch the class 350 from the rear cab rather than the saloon and can only close the doors from the panel, I cannot buzz the driver, resulting in having to go into the saloon to do so. Please could this be fixed as this does curb realism too!

But on a whole, I am so pleased with the new TSW5 release and am still in amazement that train simulator, graphically, is starting to be on a par with MSFS/FSX which has been a long time coming! Definitely some streaming or video content coming soon from me too!

    So congratulations!
