I usually drive from one end of the route to the other but fancied a change so spawned at Huddersfield, 1545, Autumn clear weather. The Manchester bound train arrived pulled by a class 45 locomotive but I was unable to get onto the footplate. The door opened but looking down at the steps didn't have the usual effect. I tried from track level but that didn't work either. I thought this had been fixed as it's so long since anyone's mentioned it. Anyway, I gave up and did something else.
I think people got fed up of mentioning it in the end as there didn’t seem to be any effort to fix bugs like this in days gone by. Then in June we were told no more work would be done on TSW2020 and all hope of getting anything fixed was dashed. I’m still discovering ‘new’ bugs in TSW2020. Hopefully the preserved collection Class 45 will allow access in through the cab door.
