Newbie is in the midst of uncoupling and coupling up new boxcars on Sand Patch. I have done quite a few successfully so far; but on this one trip I am unable to unlock the coupler as it keeps resetting to the locked position after a few seconds. I have made sure that the handbrake is fully applied on the detached cars that are supposed to be dropped off. Any suggestions? Like I said before I have uncoupled quite a few cars before successfully.
It must have been a bug in the system because after many repeated attempts the lever finally stayed in the unlocked position.
Yup - im seeing this behaviour on pc too, quite frustrating... As a newbie this has caused headaches on the journey, I have taken to saving before every coupling as unless i fiddle with the unlock (which auto resets?) it refuses to couple and often derails...
I have seen this type of behavior too, and on the same route. Coupling was locked, so I opened it so I could couple to some cars, but in just a few seconds, it locked again. Very irritating indeed. This was on the PC.
