Was watching the Road Map stream last night and saw a question from Jackmc2007 and Hentis Rail about the sidings at southall which are used by west coast rail tours being usable in scenario planner quick drive thingy mabob. This question got unanswered so I’ll put it here. Also have a word with your YouTube mods as they timed them out for a genuine good question and don’t time out the other spammers come on moderators donyout job right or let someone else do it
Have you eaten them all yet? 40 minutes have already passed as its about as entertaining as watching tartan paint dry!
Nope I have about 9 bags left . But yeah nothing interesting is happening. I would have thought Sam would have locked the thread & said something
They are all over in the "worst game ever made" thread, the pointless and ridicolously exaggerated threads have a hard time battling for attention here.
the mods have to do a lengthy process to delete comments they have to report it make a write up as to why ect and chat can move quickly if you only have a few mods but allot of viewers you are quite outnumbered and i'm sure they were timed out for a good reason whenever i have watched streams the mods have dealt with chat very well. Edit: anyways looks like this was discussed in another forum and there was a valid reason from the mods
I'd be amazed if the sidings at Southall are usable in scenario planner. Generally the only areas available in Scenario Planner is stuff that is used in service mode and even then sometimes we don't even get that, like platform 1,2&5 at Lewes on East Coastway.
Genuinely didn't see the question in the stream (the roadmap streams are pretty lively) and when someone decides that reposting the same question repeatedly will achieve success they'll often get a timeout. Sorry for missing the question. If the question was "why aren't the sidings usable" it'll be because they're scenery. Not all rail is actually functional, but we include it as it's there in reality.
Ahh ok thank you Sam so it’s a case of the west coast mainline in the bakerloo just there for scenery
That’s correct. They have already said that several times in streams but it could do with being written down somewhere for people who don’t watch them all. They get so many stupid questions from people it must be hard to sift through them all. I see people repeatedly asking stuff that has been answered before in the same stream.
Steady. There are no stupid questions (daft occasionally, but I wouldn't say stupid). What we get a lot of are questions we've already answered elsewhere, and sometimes within the stream itself. These repeat questions can bog streams down, but that doesn't make them any less valid. Where moderators step in is when someone takes it upon themselves to endlessly repeat a question. Were they to fail to do this the chat in streams would just be a mess and we'd probably end up answering less than we usually do. Roadmap streams are especially busy so we will miss questions that come up. We're not avoiding answering anything at all, it's just that sometimes the question gets missed. Repeat answering it, certainly, but try to time when you ask it for a period where there isn't an active topic being discussed in depth.
