    Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help as I have gone totally blank and can't remember. I have uninstalled my game and reinstalled Train Simulator the base game on Disc C. I now need to put the rest of my DLC onto Disc D and for the life of me can't remember how to do this.

I would be most grateful if someone could advise me of how to do this.

    With thanks.

    Normally you can't do that.
Unless you mean a symbolic link, but even that can be difficult across drives.
Maybe you can mount your Assets / Content folder from a different drive.
But the core game is 1 GB tops. Just install everything on drive D. You can also move it with Steam. You need to create a Steam Library for that, which is really straightforward - location is right the first question.

You can also clone your installation and use the copy.
The typical scenario for that is creating three medium sized installs with each big region separately, so your game and menus load faster. Or keeping Steam intact and installing 3rd party stuff in the copy.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I did put it disc D but the game loaded but the section that pops up and says '' drive ' did not appear. Usually the compter says C or D. but this time nothing. I have not changed any settings on my PC. I did find a section on Steam where you can set the default disc to D and that what I did to no avail.

You may need to manually point Steam at it.
In my case, under Steam ("File") / Settings / Storage / Location (at the top) I have CDE but not the other drive(s), however there is an Add Drive at the bottom.
Similarly, on the Install To location for, well, installing :) it only lists CDE but has a cog which probably takes me to this library management.

    Hope it helps.
