If one was to remove any of those two types of scenarios from routes is it a breach of any conditions, or would it cause problems with those routes. The reason being that I very rarely play Career or Free roam scenarios. I enjoy making my own Standard scenarios and I have quite a collection now...I'm thinking that if I remove those unwanted scenarios I would probably have extra space in the game for more of my scenarios. True or false. I understand that uninstall and then an reinstall of TS2020 would bring back the full content of my library. I couldn't find anything in the forums anywhere about this and that's why Iv'e penned this question.
I think you'd be okay but, as you note, a reinstall (or a file verify) would reinstate any scenarios that came with a DLC. Truth be the few hundred K you'd save here and there might not be worth the trouble when storage capacity is routinely measured in terabytes these days.
I have thought of doing the same but not sure it is worth it, I was mainly thinking of deleting a lot of the standard scenarios I don't use, I usually make my own, to tidy up the scenario lists and maybe make the menus less cumbersome.. However, it might speed up the time it takes to load the sim, it seems to spend quite a long time "updating the scenario database" or whatever action it is called, but whether it would make it that much quicker I don't know.
I'm not sure if you can delete the Career Scenarios The are part of the MainContent.ap file for the route. If you extracted the Scenarios you could delete them but the game just looks back in to the MainContent.ap file If you Deleted the MainContent.ap file Steam would see that as an error and replace it Peter
