Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition
This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG.
Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition.

    Rules:
    • TSC only shots allowed.
    • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes.
    • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish.
    • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory.
    • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves).
    • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge).
    • The Judge of the week's decision is final.
    • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so.
    • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum.
Entries will close at 5:00 PM PST on Friday, February 3rd and will be judged by me - Blazin

In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 9:00 PM PST Sunday, February 5th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll.

This weeks theme will be Scrap / Scrapyards Feel free to interpret this theme however you wish!

Have fun & good luck to all!

How ironic that all the contributions so far include the Class 37 which was first built in 1959/60 and is still seen regularly hauling it's younger stablemates to the scrapyard and is also still in wide use 63 years later on many a private & corporate (e.g. DRS, ROG, Colas, Network Rail) network.
IMO It just has to take the award for best British designed, long lasting, hard working loco ever produced. "Long Live The Clag Master":cool:

Hello everyone! It's time to announce the winners for this week. Unfortunately, not that many submissions to the contest this week compared to other weeks but that does not mean the screenshots for this week weren't excellent. They were all great and it was still hard to pick the winner!

In 3rd place, we have Craigie-C. I like this one a lot because it represents the theme of a scrapyard excellently with the piles of scraps, parts and locomotives lying around in the yard with a classic Class 02. Well done!

In 2nd place, we have cscarpenter with this awesome shot of a British Rail Class 50 hauling some scrap wagons. It has great lighting and an awesome amount of trains included in the screenshot!
    2.jpg
And in 1st place, is I`m a railfan obviously with this very good shot of a British Rail Class 37 pulling old clay wagons to trade with newer ones, leaving the old ones to be scrapped. I really like the angle of the shot, it's awesome! Background objects such as the speed board, weeds growing through the tracks and semaphore signal give this screenshot a great atmosphere to it too. I love it!

Thank you to everyone who submitted a screenshot for this week! Well done to the winners, and congratulations to I`m a railfan obviously for the 1st place screenshot. I can't wait to see what theme you choose for next week!
