**************** DO NOT INCLUDE IN COMP HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AGAIN **************** GWR had a need to replace their ageing HST fleet and decided to opt for the Bi-modal Hiachi Class 802
That is a REALLY good reskin. Really makes you wonder what a higher quality Van Sweringen 2-8-4 DLC could look like.
"The Need For Speed" Exactly what every passenger on the Class 142 (Nodding Donkey) is thinking just now. LOL
Hi guys, hope you are all having a good new 2022. Firstly a massive thank you to all of you who keep this thread going. I personally love taking part in a comp with no boundries, limitations, only how broad your imagination, interpretation is. Long may it continue. Enough Waffle down to business. As ever the standard by all has been excellent but I have decided to declare my verdict as follows. In 3rd Place Buynot, for this wonderful interpretation of speed with the blurred NKP759 In second place & runner up UP13 for the cracking interpretation of the theme & the great shot of the Class 02 (didn't know that even existed in TS I want one LOL) And finally in 1st place and the honour of being next weeks judge ............ Nick Y With a joint passing speed of close on 225mph, this amazing shot of two meridians crashing along the MML I was drawn to this shot as the lighting and textures make it almost look like a painting. Well done. Many thanks to you all for your contributions, I know hand the Master Key to Nick Y for next weeks comp.
Thank you Craigie. There were some great entries this week. The theme for week 2 will be Heavy Haul (Freight). I did have to tweak the image slightly to give a little more light. This was the original image btw.
Regarding the 02 I think it is now unavailable. I got it as part of the original Class 111 pack, which included the fictional Granfield Branch, the Class 02 and 8F.
