Theme for this week: Tunnels Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week and becomes its judge. The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, June 16th and will be judged by me. In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, June 18th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll. (Carry-over: Pre 2000, Landscape; Freestyle.) Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun!

Thank you for the entries! I've saved them all and spent a bit of time already looking at them full screen. I'm going in circles regarding the winner but also want to give a bit of detail on why. I'll announce early in the morning.
Good morning everyone! First things first, the podium. 3) Heart of Berlin - by cscarpenter 2) Stroudley Terrier - by Craigie-C 1) Lake of Sodor - by Blazin It was tough to decide on specific medals as everyone offered nice things. Thank you all for participating! Below is a rundown of my thoughts. Some weeks ago it came up that it would be a good thing. If not, I'll remove it. Blazin: The Sodor location is lovely. Feels like it could use a bit of room on the top, but full screen it's just perfect. The Talent2 was my initial choice. Colors, shadows, layout, balance, train has room / perspective ahead, ample foliage. Craigie-C The BR185 has lovely bits of scenery everywhere. Fine diagonal and other lines. Opposite train would also add perspective. The Terrier pic has great autumn colors all over it, bits of matte reflection on the train, works out well. More palette than the Pullman. cscarpenter I was hoping for some clever underground shots and you delivered. Can't do much about reflected / ambient lights on the left side. Limeyfox Good idea & feels. Your editing has improved it. Nice portrait pic of the oncoming train. I'm a railfan obviously Aspect ratio makes things really difficult. Can block part of the view with my hands, then IrfanView is probably the easiest tool out there for cropping, given how its selection works. Can also enable you for the official! The Class 90 is nice as is, maybe a bit left-heavy and dead space on the right. It crops to a wonderful 16:9 shot, too. The Riviera pic has great mood all over it and the Desiro has good color contrast.
Congratulations to the winners and thank you very much for 1st place! Here is the new thread for next week, the theme is "The Middle of Nowhere." I hope you all have fun! https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-screenshot-competition-2023-week-25.70891/
I would love to but the Island of Sodor route by GlennockCreations doesn't have the entire Island of Sodor finished, only the narrow gauge lines and a few standard gauge branches.
