Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. East Coast Mk4 DVT '82216' leads southbound express passenger service 1Y05 originating from Newcastle and bound for London King's Cross with East Coast Class 91 '91117' at the rear. The train is seen here after having departed from Peterborough and now heading at high speeds for London King's Cross with no station stops in between. Virgin Class 390 '390 141' leads an 11 coach long morning express passenger service along the West Coast Main Line from Stafford to Rugby with only one stop in between at Nuneaton. Loco: British Rail Class 390 Route: WCML Trent Valley

One of the worlds most famous Passenger Express Trains, the DB ICE-T takes on passengers for a Leipzig bound run at Dresden.
First, here is a Transpennine Express of old times. The location stands in for virtually anywhere on the ECML.
Lastly, an Acela 1 on the Northeast Corridor. I'm not too happy with any of my older Acela shots, however discovered that my recent screenshots have much better light than a few years ago (with the GG1 this time). Either I found the best times of day for shooting, or the engine has improved.

In 2nd place is cscarpenter with this HST heading through Dawlish..... In 1st place is Blazin with this stunning image of 390114 rounding a bend @ probably over 100mph with abit of tilt going on...... Congratulations one and all!
