Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Our rules: Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. You can enter up to 3 pictures, posted separately. You can delete and replace if you wish. TSC only shots allowed. 3rd party content, enhancement and artistic editing is accepted. Thread poster picks the podium and can't enter themselves. The decision is final. The winner chooses the new theme for next week and becomes its judge. We strongly discourage any negativity, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. This weeks theme is Up close/Fine details Feel free to interpret this however you see fit. Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, July 28th and will be judged by me (PaulC). In the event of this week's winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, July 30th, a new thread will be created with a Freestyle theme. Good luck and have fun!

Excuse me for the taunting post, but I think the theme would suit Craigie-C and cscarpenter very well.

After a slow start the entries have slowly appeared & tbh the quality of entries this week has been outstanding! It makes my job very hard to do, well done to all! In 3rd place is Georgeuk90 with this great picture showing off the HHA`s & as a bonus showing the little featured in this comp Class 58 heading our way! well done In 2nd place is Cscarpenter with excellent shot of the Nevis Ranger, I really must use the West Highland Extension more as its just sitting in my route collection gathering dust on my SSD! The honour of 1st place & running next weeks comp goes to Nick Y who is showing off the brilliantly detailed Battle of Brittain Memorial livery, check out the fantastic looking Avro Lancaster on the side! Nice work Nick! Congratulations to all & over to you Nick Y for next weeks comp
Thank you for the win this week. There were so many great entries that I thought I wouldn't have a chance. One other image I was going to enter was the same shot but with 91111 'For the Fallen'. I didn't really have much time to play TSC this week due to my volunteering at the Wensleydale Railway. I will post up details of the new competition soon.
The new competition for this week is up and the subject is: Industrial (Locos and infrastructure included).
Congratulations Nick Y and to all our fellow contributors. Why not re-enter it there are no rules that say you can't, and you never know. I have won more than once with regurgitated screenshots It is all down to the eye of this week's judge. Wishing you luck
