Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: • TSC only shots allowed. • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). • The Judge of the week's decision is final. • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 9PM GMT on Friday, November 8th 2024 and will be judged by me - Blazin In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 17:00 on November 10Th, 2024 a new thread will be created using the results of this weeks poll. The theme for this week is: Couplers Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun.
First angle of the same thing. As I'm approaching my train, two helpful guys stand by to attach the train as quick as possible. They did so in record time, so my delay wasn't as bad as everyone feared. The loco is a BR 189 in old Dispolok (MRCE) colors, the twin flats are from the same pack. Route is Hamburg-Hannover but this place is not about scenery.
Second angle of the same thing. For rules' sake, repeating myself: it's a Dispolok 189 (as you can very well see on the pic ) and its container flats.
A1 Pacific Meg Merrilees photo-bombs a trendy wedding at Offord Cluny church in the early 1960s. The bride's father seems to think that the happy couple should get a move on - especially as they are borrowing his prize MG for the honeymoon!
Slowly now... 37401 'Mary Queen Of Scots' slowly backs onto a charter rake before working a circular tour to/from Glasgow Queen Street. The loco would go on to do a standing start with 9 on on the gradient leaving Queen St...
A couple enjoy the sun & tranquility of the Peak District around Buxton with the River Wye flowing past them as a Colas 37 shatters the peace working a Test Train to Buxton Reception Sidings.
At Promontory Summit, on May 10th, 1869, the Union Pacific and Central Pacific rails were connected, for the first time coupling the east and west coast together with rail.
Another excellent week with great shots; thank you to everyone who participated! In 3rd Place is triznya.andras; this is a very unique coupler so just had to give it 3rd place!! In 2nd Place is mfeets with this classic shot of a very iconic moment in North American railroading history and global railroading history as a whole. Nice to see this shot make the rounds again into the competition. In 1st Place is paulc with this fantastically realistic looking shot! I was blown away by this one; absolutely love how it looks. It feels like a photo that would be taken in real life! I hope you all have a great weekend and looking forward to next week hosted by paulc !
paulc just letting you know mate about 2hr 30min until I'll have to make a new thread with a backup theme in case you don't respond before then.
In the voice of Andy from Little Britain, Yeah I know Sorry for the delay, new thread is in production, just finalising the theme.
