Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! On a late winter day, a green (express?) 5MT makes its way out of Kings Cross towards Peterborough, using the slow lines.
The next day, it returns with cream on top. The battle of hot and cold must have been crazy in those open cabs.
Starting after but eventually overtaking said 5MT on the first day down, a green 47 leads the maroon-cream consist north. I never imagined how you stash your luggage safely but a kitchen and restaurant car is very welcome on long distance passenger services:
Good day everyone, thank you for submitting your entries for this week's screenshot competition based on passenger services. The submissions are now closed. Here are this week's winners. 1st place winner goes to bellminsterboy with a nice shot of an Azuma AP 801 train leaving Stevenage station on the London-Peterborough route on a brisk winter's day. The snow, evening sunset and clouds make for a nice dusk shot. 2nd place winner goes to Blazin with an awesome shot of an NJT F40PH-2CAT combined with Comet IV/Comet V push pull equipment on the North Jersey Coastline. I really like the lighting on this run combined with RW Enhancer 2 and AP Sky & Weather Enhancement pack to provide for a vibrant clear summers day. Also nice to see the newer headlight flares used on this train. It was a very close call between your NJT picture and your S Bahn Koln picture as I also liked the grafitti, blue bridge, rusted rail and greenery in that shot. 3rd place winner goes to triznya.andras. Going back into time with this classic BR Standard Class 5 steam locomotive heading to Kings Cross during a cold winter day on the slow lines. Thank you very much for 2nd place and congratulations to the other winners! Also, as a side note I don't use RW Enhancer 2. Only game-wide enhancement product I use alongside AP content is ReShade which is free anyways.
