Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition!

This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG.
Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition.

    Rules:
    • TSC only shots allowed.
    • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes.
    • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish.
    • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory.
    • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves).
    • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge).
    • The Judge of the week's decision is final.
    • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so.
    • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum.

Entries will close at 10PM GMT on Saturday, March 8th 2025 and will be judged by me - Blazin

In the event of this week's winner not responding by 10PM GMT on Sunday, March 10th 2025, a new thread will be created using the results of this week's poll.

The theme for this week is: Important & High Profile Services
Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish.

OOps, thanks for the correction. Had to download the JT Patriot as a requirement for this scenario and got my underwear completely in a twist as to which was which. God bless the Old Age Factor. ;)

My original intention was the Acela but didn't find really nice ones, so...
The NEC along its primary power has always been in the spotlight. PRR applied the keystone as its logo to the GG1 with pride.

For Germany, my candidate is ICE & Intermodal, both playing a vital forefront role in transportation.

While the timestamp varies by country, the word Intercity was always intended as a mark of quality and priority.

I’m going to allow an extra ~12-24hr of contest time to allow any potential latecomers to submit so I can choose from at least 3 contestants if you two don’t mind. If nothing comes of it I’ll still move forwards by judging the lot you’ve sent. :)

Thank you Craigie-C and triznya.andras for participating this week! :D
Here is a decided top 3 shots I've seen that were provided from you both:

In 3rd place is Craigie-C with a magnificent shot of what is very clearly an important steam based service!! Love the angle, lighting and sky. :
    3.jpg
In 2nd place is triznya.andras with this awesome shot of an ICE 2 service passing by a bustling German railway yard. The angle is high up and unique, often hard to make work but has been done well here. I also like the variety of important services, showing how passenger and freight both provide vital roles to making a railway run!

In 1st Place is Craigie-C with this excellent shot at what I think is Bangor? The livery of this Class 43 set is stunning and screams importance to me with the lighting gorgeous too which really shows off the colour. Well done!

Looking forward to next week headed by Craigie-C . Sorry for the quiet week you two, regardless I hope you still had fun. :)
