Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. Under no circumstances will any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributer be tollerated. This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 21:00 GMT on Friday, November 11th and will be judged by me - Craigie-C In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 17:00 Sunday, November 13th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll. This weeks theme will be Sunrise / Sunset Good luck to all!
Pennsylvania Railroad EMD GP7 '8572' sits dangerously in front of the burning Rose Tower during the late sunset. Hi folks, tis Friday Night and judging time has arrived. As always congraulations & thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort in creating this wonderful collection of sunset shots. Sadly there can only be 1 winner and I am afraid it is MEEE !!! LOL I jest Honestly this has been really hard to come up with just one winner but have finally decided to go with In Joint 3rd Place:- I'm a railfan obviously and Nick Y for these stunning shots. Second place and joint runner up goes to:- cscarpenter for the aptly timed theme of Rememberance day images. and Paulc for this terrific Freightliner nose to nose locos shot. But I just had to go with my gut feeling and award 1st Place and the honour of being this weeks winner to:- Paulc for this beautiful Class 86 shot on the ATS Missing Link line. Terrific angle of shot / lighting and the way the OHLE is sillouetted against the orange sky just nailed it for me. Well done Paul, all round cracking shot, ticked every box for me. I happily hand over the Golden Master Key for you to take us on the next stage of our journey. Look forward to your choice of theme for next week.
Wow thanks again for the win I did not think I stood a chance when I saw cscarpenter`s remembrance 91! Excellent shot!! Well done to all the finalists and all the other excellent pics! Hope to see you all in the next comp! Next weeks comp is up and running here - https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-screenshot-contest-2022-week-45.61544/
Congratulations Paul, a worthy winner if ever there was one. I didn't realise how good that shot was till I clicked on it and viewed it full screen, just stunning. I would happily have that printed and displayed on a wall, sadly the wife prefers family photos, (She has no taste) LOL Well done, and may I also add, thanks for a terrific subject choice for next week. Also many thanks Craigie-C, I will happily accept runner up every week as it means I get to play again next week. Cheers
Well done Paul. I knew as soon as I saw that pic before I posted my sprinter pic that it would likely be the winner.
Thanks for the compliment, but must accept my shot was not in the same league as your winning contribution, Be proud, very proud.
