Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 09:00 PM GMT on Friday, March 17th and will be judged by me - cscarpenter In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, March 19th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll. Hi all, am away for the weekend so am not able to access my PC, so am posting using my phone with a tiny screen so please bear with me. A fantastic collection of shots yet again, so a huge thank you to everyone for taking part. I will post full results when I get back home but just for now I will announce my winning choice as bellminsterboy for this amazing offering. Congratulations, looking forward to your choice of theme next week.
Just a note to say... I realise I'm past the deadline, so my entries are really just to take part. I'm not expecting them to be judged.
thank you, this is an unexpected treat! I wasn't expecting to win as the standard was very high. Well done all and I'll be in touch with a new post shortly. Thanks Cscarpenter for running a great contest
Hi everyone, next week's thread is here, the theme is 'Scenic Railways'. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-screenshot-contest-2023-week-12.68380/
Yay, back home again and able to respond properly with a decent sized screen. So here we go with my full choice of podium places. 3rd place bronze medal I award to Blazin for this cracking shot of 66743 plying it's trade on the ECML 2nd place and silver medal goes to Craigie-C for this glorious moody mist image. and as already mentioned Congratulations to Bellminsterboy for his lovely Fish-Eye lens type reflective landscape shot at Lymington, must admit I personally love that location for taking screenshots, it allows a huge range of places to mount your camera to capture some terrific reflections. Well done to all and thank you for your patience.
I also feel I just have to take the opportunity to award an honourable mention to:- I'm a railfan obviously for this great low down landscape shot of a RHTT Class 20 set. paulc for this in your face 395 KTL_Rob Powell for this unusual subject matter of a Rockfall Shelter. And last but certainly not least Pookeyhead for this absolutely beautiful shot taken on the Birmingham Cross City Line. Would I frame that and hang it on my wall? You bet your bottom dollar I would. Such a shame you missed the deadline but thanks a million for sharing. Serious well done to all, let's keep the standard up there for next week.
Cheers, I'll take a podium place any week. Huge congrats bellminsterboy love your winning shot, well done.
Cheers buddy! I'd like to thank Cscarpenter for so expertly running this week's contest and everyone who congratulated me. Was genuienly not expecting to win against some of the shots on here; so an additional well done to everyone who took part.
I would hardly describe it as "expertly", it took me two days and two attempts to properly announce the winners. LOL I do however genuinely appreciate your comment, many thanks. I just thoroughly enjoy being able to be a part of this thread, always great to see the talent that is displayed week in week out from all around the globe.
