Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, April 7th and will be judged by me - PaulC In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, April 7th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll. This weeks theme will be The amazing structures/architecture of TSC - So many structures are provided to make a route immersive and realistic & many many hours goes into creating these! Lets show them off! you are free to interpret this as you wish. An example photo has been provided below if you are stuck or need ideas. Good luck to you all.
The amazing north portal of the Clayton Tunnel on the London - Brighton Line, considering how old this DLC is it still looks pretty good. Oh! and so does the phenomenal GST MPV seen cleaning the rail heads on an autumnal morning.

Sometimes the mountainside is too steep and you need to build a forever bridge. For the XXL version, check out Canadian Mountain Passes
Few stations can compete with the awesome architecture of Koln Hauptbahnhof, one of the largest trainsheds in the world. It is host to a variety of trains, including a DB 146, Thalys PBKA and ICE 4.
How's this for an architectural trio? The famous Cologne Cathedral, Central Station and Hohenzollern Bridge are arguably one of the finest collections of buildings in TSC. An early morning DB 146 makes its way towards the bridge.

150202 is dwarfed by the size of the immense, Isambard Kingdom Brunel designed, Royal Albert Bridge on the Devon - Cornwall border
Just to correct you Cragie being a local - The rail bridge is the Royal Albert Bridge with the road bridge next to it being the Tamar Bridge. Cracking shot though
What a cracking theme . Thanks paulc . How many times have you driven a route, sat in the cab and forgot to stop, get out and look around, and admire the work that has gone in to producing said route? Guilty as charged M'lud. Even down to the basics as in this footbridge at Filton Abbey Wood Station on the South Wales Line. Just need the maintenance guys to trim the weeds growing through the steps and tidy up the Tarmac around the base LOL. (Loco - AP 158, Wessex Trains alphaline livery)
Stockport Number Two signal box. A LMS number 4 design built in 1890. It recently received a reprieve from demolition due to a planned signalling upgrade falling through, but like many of these boxes (three others are located at Stockport as well) their time is limited. It was however refurbished in 2004. Route: MML Hope Valley Extension. AP Class 319
Manchester Piccadilly. The station that's had more regenerations than Dr.Who. Built as Store Street in 1840, then renamed London Road in 1847, rebuilt in 1861 when it started to be recognisable as the station today, with new entrance and engine shed, then again when expanded in 1881, and then in 1960 as part of the modernisation plan, the main entrance was demolished and the office block that is still there replacing it. At this time, the bridge over Fairfield street was rebuilt, as were the platform concourses, and of course, was renamed Manchester Piccadilly. 2002 saw another facelift with new entrance and main concourse and a general refurbish. That's a very brief summary of course, and we're not finished yet, depending upon what happens with HS2/Northern Powerhouse Rail, we'll have to see what happens there, but at this rate, I doubt I'll live long enough to see that. There were plans to also extend the station and make links to Manchester Victoria via the Orsdall Chord, but that fell though as well. ATS Class 185 AP Class 319 MML: Hope Valley Ext.
Conwy Castle Loco: Coradia 175 - Arriva Route: North Wales Bonus - original image in the spoiler (not part of the entry) Spoiler
